The 4th of July Parade & Block Party is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you in the heart of Boulder Creek! This joyful tradition is a time to come together as a community, recognize the many local organizations that make the San Lorenzo Valley special, and simply have fun. Huge thanks to the Boulder Creek Business Association for once again organizing this festive favorite.
The Valley Women’s Club is proud to take part in the celebration—and we’d love for you to join us! Adults and kids alike are invited to walk with the VWC and show your support for a thriving environment and connected community. Dress up in butterfly wings, bee stripes, flower crowns, or your best woodland creature vibes—or just come as you are. We’ll bring a few extra costumes and accessories if you want to wing it!
Visit our booth at the Block Party to pick up native columbine (Aquilegia formosa) plants in exchange for a donation supporting our SLV Native Habitat Restoration Program. Plus, with any donation, you can take home a valley oak (Quercus lobata)—yours free with a columbine, or just $5 on its own. While supplies last! Every plant you grow helps nourish and shelter our local wildlife.

Whether you’re marching with us, cheering from the sidelines, or planting for pollinators—thank you for supporting community and habitat.
Let’s make this 4th of July buzz with joy. See you there!
