A calm, inclusive spring celebration for everyone
Sunday, March 29 | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Highlands Park
Hosted by the Valley Women’s Club of the San Lorenzo Valley
About the Event
The Accessible Egg Hunt is a free, family-friendly celebration designed especially for children with disabilities, including mobility, vision, and sensory challenges — and for the families who support them.
Created with input from families, accessibility advocates, and community partners, this event is intentionally calm, low-noise, and thoughtfully structured to reduce stress for children and caregivers alike.
Families are invited to enjoy a joyful egg hunt experience at their own pace, along with gentle activities and sensory-friendly prizes.
Three Adaptive Egg Hunts
Families may register for the egg hunt that best fits their child’s needs.
Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt
Designed for children who benefit from a quiet, structured environment.
Small groups, gentle pacing, and a low-stimulation setting.
Wheelchair-Accessible Egg Hunt
Designed for children with mobility challenges.
Eggs are placed on low, stable, decorated tabletops so they’re easy to reach — no bending or rolling.
Beeper Egg Hunt
Designed for children with low or no vision.
Eggs emit sound cues to help children locate them independently in a quiet outdoor space.
Siblings are welcome to attend and enjoy side activities.
