Community TV Airs “Community Hero” Awards Presentation

by Robyn McKeen, United Way The Community Assessment Project “Community Hero” Awards presentation began airing on Community TV on December 4th. The program will air on Wednesday’s at 7:30pm and Friday’s at 4:30pm, channel 26 Comcast and 72 Charter. They will air on a regular schedule until January 10th and irregularly afterwards. Mountain Community Resources Shares Children’s Room Improvements

Thanks VWC for Its Community Grant The VWC’s new Community Grants pilot program brought capital improvement funds to six groups , and recently Mountain Community Resources Director, Jennifer Anderson-Ochoa, wrote to thank the VWC for awarding MCR with one of those first grants, in the amount of $3,000, and we wanted to share their photo with you.

Our Mission

The Valley Women’s Club is dedicated to community action, awareness and leadership in environmental, educational, social, and political concerns that affect the health and welfare of the San Lorenzo Valley and our community.

Board Meetings

Our monthly board meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month, 6:00–8:00 pm via Zoom.

Meetings are open to the public unless we are holding a closed session.
