Join us for a potluck meal and celebration of our many accomplishments over the past four decades in the San Lorenzo Valley.
Sunday, March 25, 2018
11:30 to 2:30
Highlands Park Senior Center
8500 Highway 9, Ben Lomond, CA
Open to everyone: members and non-members, this is a chance to hear about the people, programs, events, activities, and history of the VWC. Elected officials will also be present to report on the concerns of the State, the County, and the Valley. Please bring a potluck dish to share, and we will provide cake and beverages.
The VWC sponsors programs that care for our watersheds like The SLV Native Habitat Restoration Program and The Butt Stops Here. The Caregivers Support Group gives respite, community, and support to those who provide care for others. T-K & Kindergarten students receive stocked backpacks, and high school seniors benefit from scholarships through our Education Committee. Events include The Hammer-Marcum Awards, The Annual River & Road Cleanup, and the Redwood Mountain Faire. There are many opportunities to serve on committees and volunteer for events. Membership and donations help support all these contributions to our community.
For more information, please call Sheila De Lany, VWC President, at (831) 429-9641.
