The Valley Women’s Club is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s KBCZ Music Festival on Saturday, August 13th, from 1 pm–7 pm at Junction Park in downtown Boulder Creek. We will have a table at the event and encourage everyone to stop by!
KBCZ 89.3fm Boulder Creek is community radio at its best; a non-commercial, educational program of the Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District, this station is managed by one part-time staffer that oversees this fantastic group of dedicated DJs and volunteers. The radio station currently has over 30 local DJs producing 100% original shows.
KBCZ provides local news and weather along with talk shows that discuss various subjects like cooking, good health practices, music history, sports, hobbies, and other topics of interest to the community.
KBCZ is bringing back the Music Fest after a 2-year hiatus this year! The Fest attracts great bands and delicious local beer and cider and local vendors to a wonderful day at the river.
The Music Fest is the largest fundraiser of the year for KBCZ. Ancestree will be headlining the show, and you’ll hear other local favorites such as Jake Nielsen’s Triple Threat, Kick Boxing Chimp-a-Zoids, and Cement Ship.
KBCZ listeners are passionate about the San Lorenzo Valley, its history, natural beauty, and close community. We feel this closely aligns with the Valley Women’s Club’s mission statement:
The Valley Women’s Club is dedicated to community action, awareness, and leadership in environmental, educational, social, and political concerns that affect the health and welfare of the San Lorenzo Valley and our community.
The Valley Women’s Club is proud to support KBCZ by sponsoring the Music Fest and supporting our local community through their broadcast. The Valley Women’s Club is looking forward to connecting with the broad base of KBCZ’s listeners!
