The dedicated Valley Women’s Club (VWC) volunteers of the Redwood Mountain Faire are what have helped make it so successful! We are, again, in the process of planning for this year’s Faire, which will be held on June 3rd and 4th, 2023, at Roaring Camp in Felton, and welcome and invite volunteers to join the fun and help staff.
The Faire remains the biggest fundraiser for the VWC and is essential to help pay for all the programs and community services we provide.
As a volunteer, you will receive free admittance to the Faire, work a four-hour shift, and have the rest of the time to play and have fun at the Faire! Parking will cost $10 for everyone at the event (no passes are available for parking). Carpooling is recommended (volunteer with friends!).
Opportunities to earn $$ for the VWC:
Be part of the Main Gate Team! As a volunteer for the Main Gate, you’ll sell tickets, accept all payment types including cash, check or credit card and apply entry wristbands. The last shift helps with site cleanup.
A mainstay of our volunteer opportunities! Sign up to take tickets and pour beer or wine. Advance training is required 30 minutes prior to the shift. The last shift helps with site cleanup.
This booth provides information about the non-profit groups that participate and benefit from the Faire. Help spread information about these local groups!
Volunteer with friends! It will be so much fun when we are all there together!
Please help publicize the Faire by liking us on Facebook and passing on our information, including the opportunity to volunteer. Thank you!
