We are pleased to share with you Peter Wohlleben video. He is the German author of the bestseller “Hidden Life of Trees”. He has the expertise and specialized knowledge about how the forest & its trees connect to the planet, so we had reached out to him for his consideration of the PG&E Wildfire Mitigation Plan. We had explained to him that we were connected with other effected residents & organizations in Central & Northern California, who also questioned the PG&E tree & vegetation removal methodology. VWC believes that the major wildfire risk is outdated electrical transmission equipment. While PG&E is slow to upgrade their dangerous equipment it is quick to remove thousands of trees, which will have a negative environmental impact. We appreciate Peter’s generosity and support.
