With YOUR help the San Lorenzo River Estuary Project will improve the wildlife habitat. We welcome you to join us to increase the growth margins around established native plants, prune back bushes, liberate overgrown natives & mingle with other wonderful volunteers.
After more than 30 years operating the three Redemption/Recycling centers in the San Lorenzo Valley, the VWC is preparing to close down the centers, effective July 1. The Ben Lomond Transfer Station will continue to provide recycling services without any redemption options.
With profound regret, the Valley Women’s Club of San Lorenzo Valley (VWC), after thirty years providing this valuable service to our community, announces the closure of its SLV Redemption/Recycling Centers (SLVRR) in Felton, Ben Lomond, and Boulder Creek
The Valley Women’s Club is dedicated to community action, awareness and leadership in environmental, educational, social, and political concerns that affect the health and welfare of the San Lorenzo Valley and our community.
