The SLV MUSEUM’s Dinner/Auction Fundraiser at Scopazzi’s Restaurant on June 18, was a delightful event. There was a lot of happy conversation, a delicious buffet, and some amazing items donated by generous local individuals and businesses were sold in the Auction, featuring Supervisor Bruce McPherson as Auctioneer. The funds raised will support the history Museum’s programs and operations.
However, there is an important need that requires significant additional funding not yet realized. The Museum’s computers are true antiques, and the specialized software needed to run a modern and active museum like ours is pricey. So the Museum has started a Fund-It Campaign, hoping that a large number of small donation will help raise the money needed for new computers and software to replace their very very old equipment.
Here is an opportunity to participate in this Fund-IT campaign to upgrade the aged computer infrastructure including upgrading our PastPerfect Museum Software — your help in any amount is needed!
