By Rosalind Alley, Chair and Tom McKay, Vice Chair
Due to the enthusiastic participation of local educators and parents, and other supporters of local education, the SLV Education Foundation is being re-energized, and you can join in this exciting endeavor.
The SLV Education Foundation is an active 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in need of revitalization, new energy and new leadership, and it is well on the way. Serving all SLV students primarily through various community and fundraising efforts, the Foundation has in the past helped fund such important student programs as class-size reduction, and raised over $70,000 in 2004 for that purpose.
Please join us at our next meeting:
Wednesday September, 18th at 7:00pm
Room 12, SLV Unified School District Building
325 Marion Ave. Ben Lomond, CA
(In the old Quail Hollow School Campus, just off Quail Hollow Rd.)
Come see what the excitement is all about and join our organization! We have volunteer roles open! There are still a few open seats on the board of directors. We are anxious to fill the board and get started with future events!
1. Our goal is help enrich the lives of students by raising funds for education in the arts, sciences and technologies.
2. Our mission is to enhance the academic experience and enable a brighter future for the children of our community!
3. Who benefits: The children of San Lorenzo Valley Union School District and Our Community.
So mark your calendar for September 18!
