For a new take on the San Lorenzo River, go to Jane’s blog to read a wonderful series of first-person essays based on the experiences of Jane Mio and Barbara Riverwoman (yes, that’s her name), who have a powerful viewpoint based on thousands of hours spent along the River. In Jane’s words, their Blog is based on an “ever deepening appreciation of the hidden and obvious treasures of the river. The endless wonders never cease to amaze us. Our levee walks together have been filled with delightful glimpses of natural beauty, discussions about river management policies, questions about wildlife behavior, interactions with the humans who work, play or live on the River, and lots of humor.” Enjoy!
