Get ready to celebrate because the 4th of July Parade and Block Party is almost here! This fantastic event brings our community together to reconnect and honor the numerous organizations and community members participating in the parade. We’re immensely grateful to the Boulder Creek Business Association for organizing and bringing so much joy to the community.
The Valley Women’s Club is always thrilled to join in on the excitement and spread the word about our efforts in nurturing our local environment and its citizens. After having an absolute blast last year dressing up and buzzing around in the parade, we’ve decided to highlight the SLV Native Habitat Restoration Program once again! We invite enthusiastic adults and children to walk with us, carry banners, and be a part of the fun! Feel free to wear butterfly, blossom, bee, or other woodland creature costumes, adorn a flowery hat, or simply come as you are. We’re eagerly anticipating our community gathering and hope to see you there!
Following the parade, the VWC and its SLV Native Habitat Restoration Program will be parked downtown for the Block Party, offering a variety of native plants for donation. By supporting the program and planting these native plants, you’ll contribute to its success and provide essential food for the wildlife in our biodiverse habitats.
The parade kicks off at 10:00 AM and concludes at noon. We’ll meet at the Boulder Creek Veterinary office at 9:00 AM. For those early birds who don’t come pre-flocked, we’ll have a few wings and adornments available to borrow.
Join in on the fun! For more information, feel free to reach out to us. See you at the parade!
