Camp Joy Gardens has a remarkable mission as a “demonstration garden and training center for small-scale, organically sound agriculture” – an organic teaching farm with wonderful programs for all ages. The summer camp sessions continue in August for ages 12-16 where campers participate in fun, hands-on activities from planting to harvesting and cooking. There are Cheese making Classes, with one upcoming on August 30th. You’ll find their wonderful harvests at both the Felton Farmers’ Market on Tuesday afternoons, and the Boulder Creek Farmer’s Market on Saturdays from 12-4. They offer a Flowers CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), along with their fruits and vegetables CSA. In the late Fall, the Annual Wreath sale features hand-crafted wreathes made from Camp Joy grown flowers, along with delicious honey, jams and jellies, pickles and other wonderful examples of the Camp Joy bounty.
